TGIF Everyone! I am so ready for the weekend and thought what is a better way to jump start this Friday than doing a blog post! I wanted to talk about my current favorite lip products because I have tried quite a few recently! When it comes to lipstick and lipglosses, I tend to lean more towards the drugstore brands as I feel like there are so many dupes for the higher end products. But I do like my high end lip products as well so I decided to feature a mix of both in my favorite lip products post!
I honestly feel 10x more put together when I am wearing a lipstick or tinted gloss. It definitely isn’t an everyday staple, but I like to carry a couple of lip products in my purse to apply on a whim or touch up on a night out. As you can tell by the picture above, I do like my pink lip products… and yes I do have one that is green, which I am so excited to tell you about. Check out my favorite lip products below:
Tarte Tarteist Lip Paint: I got this little number in my Sephora birthday gift and I love it. I am probably going to buy a full size once this mini runs out. This one is in the color ‘Birthday Suit’ and it is the perfect neutral pink matte color!
NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream: This lip cream is in the color ‘Tokyo’ and adds the a gorgeous hot pink to my lips that definitely is not over the top. Plus it is only $4.99 from Target!
NYX Butter Gloss: Compared to the lip cream mentioned above, this lipgloss in the color ‘Vanilla Cream Pie’ has a glossier finish and more subtle pink color. It is also super moisturizing, which is a plus. Oh and it is only $4.99 from Target as well
MAC Matte Lip Stick: This is in the shade ‘Velvet Teddy’, which I describe as a plummy-pink! I love this shade and it has lasted me for such a long time. I like to pair it with my NYX Butter Gloss if I want a glossier finish.
Lipstick Queen: Last but certainly not least, this product is one of my newest favorites… and yes it is green! In the shade, Frog Prince, this lip stick does not go on green. Instead, it enhances your natural lip pigment so it looks different on everyone. One of my friends showed it to me and another friend while on a camping trip and we both went to Ulta to purchase it for ourselves. It is on the more expensive side at $25, which is pricier than MAC, but I love it and think it is so fun!

I have used all of these lippies and I love them all! Lipstick Queen is definitely on the pricier side but I love their quality and wearable range of colors. And the NYX Butter Glosses are just perfect for on the go!
