Staple Fall Outfit

I know that it is still technically August and summer does not officially end for a couple of months, but I am actually really excited for fall. We’ve had a hot summer here in Colorado and even though summer is my favorite season, I am pumped for fall outfits and cooler weather. I am anxiously waiting for a trip to Boston at the end of September so I am hoping I can pick out some cute fall outfits for the weekend getaway. Plus, I have never been to the east coast during Fall so I can’t wait to experience the leaves changing first hand! For today’s post, I decided to put together my staple fall outfit. I think I will be wearing this outfit, or variations of it through the next couple of months. I love how you can add layers once it starts cooling off and still look cute while staying warm.

Staple Fall Outfit:

Blanket Scarf: I am a blanket scarf connoisseur during fall and winter. I think they are a perfect addition to an outfit and I personally love snuggling up in it while at work.

Riding Boots: I think every girl should have a staple pair of riding boots. They are perfect to wear with jeans, skirts, or even a dress. Plus, you can layer socks if it is extra chilly outside.

Denim Skirt: I love that denim skirts are in again! I recently purchased one from Forever 21 for under $20! I am so excited to wear it during fall and adding tights underneath when it gets colder!

Lipstick: A pop of color on your lips adds so much to your outfit. I have friends who love fall lip colors, but I typically stick to pinks! I love this color from MAC, which is the perfect bright pink!

Tie Up Top: Tie up/lace up tops are adorable and I keep adding more to my wardrobe. Pairing a lace up top with a denim skirt is so cute!

Tights: A good pair of tights are great to have during the colder months. I probably won’t need to break out my tights until the end of September or early October here in Colorado, but they are great to wear with skirts and dresses if you want to add a layer of warmth!
