If you missed my last post showing my recent photo shoot at Denver Union Station with A.Ropkin Visuals, check it out now! The dress I wore in my last post is my favorite of the two outfits I featured in the photo shoot. However, I still wanted to show my Miss Olivia Says readers the amazing other pictures Anthony from A.Ropkin Visuals took as well as this outfit I threw together. These set of pictures were the first outfit of the day so it was still warming up. It was a brisk 15 degrees at this point and while Anthony was taking pictures of our friend Stephanie, the rest of the group including myself, Paul, Anthony’s wife and Stephanie’s husband were huddled trying to stay warm. I had my giant snow jacket on right up until Anthony was about to snap pictures. My hands were completely numb about 2 minutes into the photo shoot!
As you can probably tell, my hands are red and a little swollen from the cold… beauty is pain (HA!). Anyway, this outfit is mainly from Forever 21. I paired the navy blue button up skirt with this white knit sweater, both from Forever 21. I do wish I wore a more form fitting long sleeve because sometimes when I wear this particular sweater, it appears chunky… especially when I tuck it into a skirt, which I wish I hadn’t done for 85% of the pictures. Regardless, I love love love how the pictures turned out. The photography is amazing and definitely what I wish I could have on my blog all the time!
Continuing on with the outfit, of course I needed to wear tights or else I would have came down with hypothermia. These black tights are from good ol’ Target and were a stocking stuffer my parents got me this Christmas. The burgundy hat is also from Forever 21 and really adds to the outfit. I hadn’t really broke in the hat yet so I didn’t wear it in all the pictures because I was afraid it looked weird. Lastly, my brown booties are also from Forever 21 and are the perfect choice for this outfit on a cold day.
Overall, I had an amazing day shooting with A.Ropkin Visuals. I wish it was at least 20 degrees warmer and I had a couple more outfits to shoot to debut on my blog. After both Stephanie and I finished our pictures, we all headed to Tavernetta Denver for yummy authentic Italian food.. and to warm up!
