Taking time to detox your body is something I am trying to practice on a more regular basis. It is all about resting your body, allowing it to cleanse, and heal from the inside out. I find that even practicing pieces of detoxifying helps me feel rejuvenated and energetic. I love to fill my body with nutritious and natural food, as well as using natural products on your hair and skin, so that it can maintain my health at its optimum level. But how can you start cleansing? The main goal is to remove impurities from the blood, which can be easier than you think! Below are some of the ways that you can do just that:
Improve Circulation
The toxins that carried around our body are eliminated by going in our blood. In order to detoxify, one thing you can do is improve your circulation. This could be through exercise, stretching, or other methods like going to a massage. You could even get a face massage tool to help to detoxifying your skin and improve the circulation. Just choose what will work best for you and your lifestyle. Personally, I love to make exercise part of my daily routine. It has the power to reduce stress all while improving circulation.
Refuel in a Healthy Way
As your probably know, it can be tricky to have your body work at its optimum if you aren’t fueling it with the goodness that it needs. It is so important to think about what you are eating, and what changes could be made to help refuel your body. I believe certain food is good in moderation. It is completely okay to splurge on the sweets here and there, but it is important to maintain a healthy diet in your day to day.
How do you know if you need to detox? Here are some signs to look out for:
Fatigue and Tiredness
It is normal to feel extra tired if you haven’t been getting a good night’s sleep or if it is the end of a long workweek. But if you are tired and feeling sluggish and there isn’t any real reason for it, then it could be a sign that you need to detox your body.
Puffy Eyes
If you get puffy eyes or dark circles under your eyes, then it can be a sign that your body is trying to get rid of toxins but is not having much luck. If dark circles can’t be correlated to tiredness or allergies, this could be a sign you need to detox.
Bloating
I know around my period I get really bad bloating. But if you have a constant bloated feeling, that isn’t from a filling meal, then it can also be a sign that you need to detox. In this case, detoxing your body with water helps minimize bloating, especially if you put a couple drops of lemon juice in your water.
