During the work week I try and minimize my get ready time as much as possible so I can sleep longer, but still make it to work by 6:30am. If you are short of time, but it is important that you look presentable whether it is for work, class or anything else, I have compiled a couple simple fixes that will help you succeed and feel good when you look in the mirror in the morning. Below you will find some easy and quick fixes that will help make you look your best when you are on the move:
Yoga Mornings
Stress takes its toll on your appearance so it is important that you reduce it as much as you can. I know a lot of people who start their mornings with yoga or meditation so that they can focus on the tasks ahead and clear your mind from yesterday’s frustrations. Slightly embarrassing, but if you are like me and sometimes have any issues with your metabolism or digestive system, you can get it going and support it by doing some simple yoga stretches every morning. A 5-minute routine can help you achieve better results, if you start moving before breakfast.
Permanent Makeup
I personally love makeup, but in case you are fed up with applying makeup every morning but don’t want to skip that step, chances are that you will benefit from permanent makeup solutions. You will need to define your everyday look, and talk to a professional cosmetologist who will give you that perfect look when you wake up, so you only have to add some lipstick and foundation. If you would like to enlarge your eyes or your lips, there are some natural interventions that will add your face a frame and more definition.
Semi-permanent Lashes
You might be fed up with your mascara smudging in the morning, or simply hate applying it. I am sure you are aware of the semi-permanent lashes crazes, but this is a great option if you want fuller lashes that don’t require any mascara. The process only take an hour or so and can improve your lashes lasting for a couple of weeks.
Cosmetic Dentistry
Getting your teeth whitened can make you look younger and more beautiful as well. I have increased my coffee consumption in the past year or so and have definitely noticed the effects on my teeth so I have been turning to teeth whitening. If you want whiter teeth, have uneven teeth, or would like to improve your smile, get in touch with Dr. Sean Endsley, DDS who will assess your options and give you professional recommendations.
Posture Improvement Interventions
If you would like to change up your look without any cosmetic treatment, you might want to focus on your posture first. You can give out an air of confidence if you get your posture right. No matter of you have been suffering from lower back pain or simply do work sitting down all the time, you can get some great exercise routines going so you can look taller, more confident, and emphasize your figure better. If you sit at a desk all day at work, try a stand up desk or ensure you are making the right adjustments that result in good posture throughout the work day.
Ice Showers
A trick to younger looking skin is taking cold showers in the morning, or alternating between hot and cold water, so you can increase the flexibility and collagen production of your skin. If you would like a younger face, you can use ice cubes to run across your face to tighten your pores. One of the most visible signs of aging is exposed pores, this is a great preventive step to take.
Microblading
Microblading is a great option to create the perfect eyebrows for your face. Make sure that you are discussing your options with the beautician, and they are qualified and trained to do the job. The results, however, can last for years, which means less frustration in the morning trying to get your brows right.
Dry Shampoo
I am a dry shampoo lover! In case you don’t have time to wash your hair and you are heading out for an important meeting, a dry shampoo can be a lifesaver. Plus, it is better for your hair not to wash it every day so you can utilize dry shampoo on the in between days to ensure your hair is looking clean and fresh.
Sauna and Exfoliation
Everyday habits can make a huge difference when it comes to looking confident, young, and well groomed. Going to the sauna every couple of weeks and exfoliating your skin can improve the flexibility of your skin cells and increase your body’s ability to absorb antioxidants and generate collagen. By getting rid of dead skin cells, you can rejuvenate the surface of your body, and have some relaxing time at the same time.
Simple tips and lifestyle changes that suit your needs and problems can help you can spend less time trying to get your looks right and more time enjoying life!
