I wanted to bring my my favorites posts to Miss Olivia Says because it has seriously been too long since I have done one. Typically in the past, I would just do my beauty favorites but today I wanted to expand the horizons are share some things beyond beauty products I have enjoyed during the month of September!
ONE: All We Ever Wanted – Emily Griffin
I have been flying to and from California (where my parents live) for a lot of wedding prep this past summer. Because I don’t have a lot of time during the week to sit down with a good book, I took the trips home as an opportunity to download some books on my Amazon Fire for the plane. My favorite book I read in September was All We Ever Wanted by Emily Griffin. It is definitely one of those books that you will fly through because you won’t want to put it down! Plus, my Amazon Fire is amazing for travel… and I got it for $49 from Amazon Cyber Monday sales last year!
TWO: Orange Theory
I joined Orange Theory in June and have been addicted since. I have the 8 class a month membership and it is the perfect amount of classes that works with my availability. Once I moved into my house in May, I stopped having access to my old gym so I had to look at new options in the area. It was either pay for a gym membership where I would go through the motions and barely get a good workout in or sign up for OTF and get my butt kicked twice a week. I have noticed such a difference in my endurance and strength over the last couple of months. Two classes a week plus runs on the other days, I am feeling great! And when the craziness of wedding planning ends, I may even sign up for the unlimited class package because there isn’t much to do during the Colorado winter months anyways!
THREE: The Morning Toast Podcast
Okay if you are a Bravo fan, popculture lover, or even just a fan of entertaining podcasts, I highly recommend The Morning Toast. I have been a fan of Claudia (@GirlWithNoJob) and Jackie (@JackieOProblems) for awhile now and their daily podcast seriously brings me so much joy at work. I even have joined the Morning Toast Facebook Group plus like 5 other sub-groups and now my entire Facebook feed revolves around that!
FOUR: My Bloom Planner
My Bloom Planner has been a lifesaver during my wedding planning process. I am a complete planner lover and prefer a physical calendar rather than keeping track of appointments and tasks in Google or Outlook. Plus, who doesn’t love adding cute sticker to make your crazy workload not so intimidating?!
FIVE: Lucky Charms Cereal
I don’t know what it is but I got an urge to buy some Lucky Charms cereal when I was at the grocery store last week. Wal Mart was selling a huge family size box for $3 so I had to add it to the shopping cart. After dinner, I have been treating myself to a bowl of Lucky Charms and almond milk and I seriously forgot how yummy it is!
I am going to try and make my favorites posts more often because I personally love looking back every couple of months to see what I was into! Comment down below what your current favorites are!!
xoxo
