March has been a wild ride! Not only did it fly by, but here in Colorado we got all sorts of crazy weather. From a blizzard to 70 degrees and sunny, I can tell you that I am very excited for the warmer weather. During March, my husband Paul had to travel a lot for work. Throughout the first 3 weeks of the month he was traveling each week for a couple of days at a time, which was a bit lonely. Thank goodness I have my German Shepherd son, Rex to keep me company. Work has also been extremely stressful, and as I write this on 3/31 I can tell you the Sunday Scaries are in full force. I have been trying to blog more because I feel like it is a creative outlet that helps with stress. Anyone who has some tips on how to control my anxiety on Sundays/every other day of the week I am all ears!
In today’s post, I wanted to share some things I loved in March!
Orange Theory
I have been going to Orange Theory for almost 11 months now and I absolutely LOVE it. Don’t get me wrong, the workout kicks my butt, but I love the sense of community and how I know that by signing up for a class, I will get a great workout. I have the Elite membership, which comes with 8 classes a month. I make an effort to hit two classes a week and then exercise 1-2 other times the remainder of the week. I will also say that attending Orange Theory classes helps with stress as well! I always leave class in a better mood than I came.
My sister introduced Paul and I to All Birds sneakers and we are hooked. They are made from wool and tree fibers and are so comfortable. Plus, they are machine washable, which is a plus for me since I spill things on everything.
GymShark Joggers
I have been a fan of GymShark clothing since I started following @whitneyysimmons on Instagram. GymShark is a UK based fitness clothing line that is a bit cheaper than Lululemon and Alo Yoga. I recently purchased these High Waisted Joggers and can say I am officially obsessed. I want to buy them in all of the colors!
I have been wanting to purchase a nice vlog-style camera for quite some time now. I have always loved to create video content and figured why not starting making videos for fun. Plus, Paul and I head to Fiji in less than a month so I wanted to be able to document our trip. I ended up splurging and purchased the Canon PowerShot G7x Mark II camera, which is a popular choice amongst YouTubers. I actually got the recommendation from Carrie Dayton, who I have interviewed on my blog in the past. Now I gotta make my first video!
