Saying we are living in crazy times is an understatement. I am 25 years old and have never experienced anything like this. Prior to COVID-19, my full-time tech job was already 100% remote and now that we are urged and even mandated in many places to stay home, I am certainly not getting out much.
During this time it is more important than ever to take care of yourself, your loved ones and focus on mental health. For example, I know that my anxiety is heightened going to the grocery store and seeing hysteria and panic shopping so I am thankful my husband (who is laid back and level-headed) takes care of the shopping during these days of uncertainty. It is important to find little things in life to be thankful for and that improve your well-being.
In an effort to not only find a creative outlet for myself and hopefully help others, I wanted to create content in the coming weeks that promotes happiness and clarity during these crazy times. In today’s post, I am sharing my recent favorite books!
I wouldn’t consider myself an avid reader. I usually need to be extremely bored or recommended a really good book to sit down and dedicate time to reading. However, now is the perfect time to hunker down and get some good reading in because what else am I supposed to do?! If you have any recent favorites, be sure to comment down below!

I plan on updating my blog with additional book recommendations as I get through more. I ended up trying out the Kindle Unlimited trial for $9.99 in hopes to save money and find some good reads. Plus, the first month is free!

That’s so awesome that you have the ability to work remotely! I’ve been needing to finish a couple of books on my list too. When I lay down at night, I get a couple of pages in on my e-book before my phone unexpectedly smacks me in the face and I realize I’ve fallen asleep! Haha, so I haven’t gotten very far! Take care!
