Valentine’s Day Dinner Date OOTD: Featuring a Groovy Jumpsuit

There has not been a lot of fashion-related content here on Miss Olivia Says in close to two years (not counting my FashionPass review from last week). When you take into consideration COVID and my work from home lifestyle where 95% of my outfits consist of workout clothes, I haven’t been inspired to share anything fashion-related on the blog. But that is also what is great about having Miss Olivia Says.. I post whatever content I feel like and today we are getting back to our roots with an OOTD.

Paul and I celebrated an early Valentine’s Day on Saturday and went out to The Fifth String in the Highlands neighborhood of Denver. I was excited to pick out a date night outfit from Fashion Pass and went with the funky 70’s inspired Jacksonville Cropped Jumpsuit from Show me Your Mumu. Paul said he remembers his grandmother had a table cloth that looked exactly like the pattern of the jumpsuit. Come to think of it, I think a lot of our grandmothers had table cloths in this pattern. Regardless, I loved this outfit and it is unlike anything I have ever worn. Fashion Pass has been a fun way to get outside of my comfort zone and try out different styles without having to commit to purchasing and dealing with returns.

With that, the only reason I have content for this post is because I made Paul do a photoshoot of me in the backyard prior to our dinner date. Extra kudos to him for shoveling down the snow so it was a little more flat to stand on and take pictures.
