This ground turkey crockpot chili is a go to for an easy Sunday night dinner. Throw all the ingredients in the crockpot Sunday morning and you’ll have a yummy dinner with minimal cleanup. I love to add Sriracha for even more spice, but that is probably overkill for a majority of people. If you want an extra crunch, Paul and I usually add some Ranch Wheat Thins.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 can black beans, drained
- 1 Can Fire Roasted Tomatoes, drained
- 1 Can Tomato Paste 6 ounce
- 1 White Onion chopped
- 1 Red Bell Pepper seeded and chopped
- 2 jalapeños seeded and minced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 tbsp oregano dried
- 1 tsp cumin
- 2 tsp garlic salt
- 1 tsp black pepper ground
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp garlic minced
- Toppings: Cheese & green onions
Instructions:
- Cook the ground turkey over medium-heat until browned
- Chop the white onion, bell peppers and jalapeños.
- Turn on the crock pot to low and add all the ingredients and spices.
- Cook for 4-5 hours.
- Serve with green onions and shredded cheese. Enjoy!
