Hello Lovelies!
Meet the Blogger is back this week with one of my favorites, Sarah from her blog Temporary: Secretary! I have followed Sarah’s blog for quite some time now. I absolutely love her posts and her blog is such an inspiration to me. Below is my interview with her! Check it out:

1. Tell me a little about yourself:
My name is Sarah and I am a fashion and beauty blogger. I graduated from Northumbria with a 2:1 in Fashion Marketing, I ran my own e-commerce business for 6 years and now I’m a full time blogger. I am currently looking for a new job though. After 7 years of being self-employed, I am itching to get back out in the real world!
2. How did you get interested in blogging?
I created a blog for my business. Social Media wasn’t as big as it was today so I had to think of a way to connect with customers on a more personal level, to show what goes on behind the scenes at a small business. But to be honest, I was never inspired to update it regularly – only when I had some news like product preview, holiday date notices, giveaways and the odd pet photos! I decided to use the blog in a different way, to make it a hobby, and that was when it became a fashion and beauty blog.
3. What are three words to describe your style?
Feminine, versatile and fun
4. What do you believe is the worst fashion faux-pas?
Whenever I get asked this question, a new faux pas pops in to my head. I wore a lot of sportswear back in the late 90’s like football shirts (cringe), Kappa jacket and Adidas poppers. You wouldn’t be able to get me in any of those now!
5. What is the story behind Temporary:Secretary?
It started off as a jewellery brand, that was what my business was. I made jewellery and I had an online shop for it. The name ‘Temporary:Secretary” was inspired by the Paul McCartney’s song. I believe that he been performing it for the first time on his current tour!
6. How do you think your style has evolved/changed since the beginning of your blog?
When I started out as a fashion blogger in 2011, I was wearing a lot of girly dresses. I also didn’t wear lipstick and I didn’t fill my eyebrows. Things have changed in the past 4 years – I wear less dresses, and I don’t leave the house without drawing my eyebrows in. I can’t live without lipstick either! These days, I wear a lot of shirts and plan tops. I think I’ve just grown up.
7. Favorite celebs/fashion icons?
The people whose style that I admire are: Kate Middleton, Lauren Conrad and Fearne Cotton
8. Favorite place you have traveled to?
I have very fond memories of my holiday to Orlando, Florida!
9. What is your advice for anyone thinking of starting a fashion-related blog:
Start of with a plain and simple blog layout, and fill your page with original content. Have fun and don’t put too much pressure on yourself. Go at your own pace, don’t compare yourself to anyone and remind yourself that you’re unique – so just be yourself and enjoy being part of a great community!
