This past weekend I hopped on a plane and flew home for my dad’s birthday, which was on September 11th. I spontaneously booked the flight a week earlier due to personal reasons, but thought I would make a surprise out of it for my dad’s birthday! It was so great seeing my family and of course my dogs, whom I hadn’t seen since the very beginning of June. I think that was the longest I have ever gone with out seeing my german shepherds. We spent Friday and Saturday at our cabin and then headed back to town for dinner with my grandparents and two great grandmas. The pictures below are from my dad’s birthday! My dad was so surprised when I jumped out of the back of the car. I am so thankful that I was able to come home, it was just what I needed!

| I shopped my sister’s closest to find this outfit because I only brought home dirty clothes that I needed to wash. I paired this plush pink button up tank from Old Navy with cotton navy blue shorts from Forever 21! It was only 108 freaking degrees today…. |
