I have been meaning to do this post for awhile now because exercising is a big part of my everyday routine. For me going to the gym is the perfect escape from everyday stress. I am pretty happy with my weight so I not an obsessive gym-goer looking to lose ten pounds. Saying that, I hardly ever do cardio anymore and now just focus on weights and building muscle. If a workout routine is something you guys would want, just let me know. Moving on to the point of this post: My Gym Bag Essentials. Usually during the week I go to the gym right after class so I have to bring my gym bag with me in my car when I leave for the day. I suggest investing in a good quality bag to house all of your gym essentials. Check out mine below:
I want to point out that my no means is going to the gym a fashion statement, go in whatever you feel comfortable! However, I really do like to feel put together (outfit wise, definitely not with a full face of makeup) because I believe if you feel good about yourself, you’ll have a good workout. As bizarre as that sounds, it is a personal preference of mine. Clearly, my go to workout brand is Nike. I do like other brands like Lululemon, Athletica, etc. but honestly, who has the money to spend $99 on a pair of running leggings? Nike has great shoes and so many cute workout clothes that are pretty affordable if you know where to shop! Side note… some of you are probably like what the heck, why does she have men’s deodorant??? I actually prefer wearing Old Spice over women’s brands. I feel like it lasts longer throughout the day and works better than women’s brands do at the gym!

I would check out TJ Maxx or Marshalls! They have a pretty good selection of gym bags that are marked down a ton!
