I have not done a ‘Meet the Blogger’ post in quite some time so I wanted to bring the series back featuring Chelsea from her blog, Organized Mess. Chelsea is such an inspiration, from her classic and amazing style to her wanderlust, I absolutely love her blog and what it represents. Below is my interview with her. Check it out!

1. Tell me a little about yourself
Hi! I’m Chelsea, a 22-year-old recent graduate living in Philadelphia. I’m passionate about art and fashion. My blog, Organized Mess, is my way of recording my personal style, my adventures and life in general! I love all things sparkly and girly, I’m a wine and coffee drinker and I’m always up for new experiences.
2. How did you get interested in blogging?
I got interested in blogging all the way back in high school. I grew up in a small town and I knew very few people who shared my interest in fashion, so I created my blog as a way to connect to other people around the world who shared the same passions that I had. I read about fashion bloggers in Teen Vogue one day, and thought – “Hey, I can do that!”
3. What are three words to describe your style?
Three words! Let’s go with – Feminine, Classic and Refined. But I almost want to throw quirky in there thanks to my obsession with cutesy prints and bold colors.
4. You love to travel, where was your favorite destination?
do love to travel! That’s such a hard question. I lived in London for 4 months earlier this year and I absolutely adored it. I would go back in a heartbeat. But when it comes to my favorite destination that I travelled to briefly – it would have to be between Paris, France and Scotland! Which are essentially opposites, but they both are so wonderful in different ways. If you want a trip that’s full of good wine, feels chic, and a city atmosphere – go to Paris. If you’re looking for something more outdoorsy and adventurous – go to Scotland!
5. What is the best compliment you’ve received?
The best compliments are always the ones that have to do with your character. I’ve been told that I’m genuine, loyal and kind – which is a huge compliment to me. I always want to be the best person and friend that I can be.
6. How do you think your style has evolved/changed since the beginning of your blogging career?
My style has changed significantly over the years. When I first started blogging I was in high school so there was a whole lot of experimenting with personal style going on, which is always good, but I would wear bracelets all up my arm, electric yellow zebra printed tops, giant wedges and so much more. I guess I would say it was much more eclectic and boho than my style is now. My style then became very retro and quirky. It was always girly but now my style is much more polished and refined with a classic twist.
7. Favorite celebs/fashion icons?
Taylor Swift and Audrey Hepburn! Which is funny because in interviews T. Swift usually says that Audrey Hepburn is her fashion icon, so I guess that makes sense!
8. Favorite fall go-to look?
My favorite fall go-to look is a collared top layered underneath a sweater with a statement necklace, a pair of skinnies and ankle boots!
9. What is your advice for anyone thinking of starting a fashion-related blog?
My advice would be to just be yourself! I know it sounds cheesy but make sure your style is 100% you because it can get exhausting trying to be something your not, and it will reflect in your work and posts. Also, just be sure to post regularly, not necessarily everyday but even if it’s at least twice a week! My last piece of advice would be to respond to your readers, check out their blog or talk to them via social media. Connecting and meeting new people is the best part about blogging!
