Now that that weather is warming up (slowly but surely) I have an excuse to start posting summer-ish content! If you didn’t read my After Graduation: My Plans + My Job + My New City post, do that now!
Okay, you’re back! Now that you know I will be moving to Denver and living in a sweet apartment downtown, we can get on with this post. Growing up in sunny California, I LOVE the sun. When I went to school in Portland, Oregon I had major sun withdrawals so I am excited to be heading to Denver where there is around 300 days of sunshine!
With the hot sun come the need to take care of your skin. The first thing I bring to the pool or beach is my Skinceuticals face sunscreen that also enhances your natural skin tone and acts like a tinted moisturizer to add a bit of coverage. Of course I need to remember a swimsuit, and currently have been loving my Triangl-esqe suit from Target! For a fraction of the price (sorry Trianl I love you too!). Target was having an awesome sale, buy one get the other piece 50% off! SCORE! I have to remember my sunglasses and have been loving my blue reflective sunnies from Polette! As for miscellaneous things, I keep a stick of Old Spice deodorant, Million Dollar Tan face tanner, Maybelline Master Conceal, a lip balm, and a hair brush that is okay for wet hair! The brush I use is from Hask and is the perfect size to bring along! What do you bring in your pool/beach bag?

Target is KILLING it with the swimsuits this year–I saw those Triangl-esque ones this weekend and fell in love! And I still my husband's Old Spice all the time 😛 😛

I've had people look at me when I say I use men's deodorant. They just last longer and smell better LOL!
