Because it is basically summer here in California I guess that means I should start shaving on a regular basis again. When I lived in Portland and it rained all winter long, the only time anyone would see my legs was at the gym and sadly I didn’t care that I had some leg stubble. Shaveworks saved the day and sent me their line of shaving products including, Pearl Polish and travel sizes of Pearl Luxe, The Cool Fix, and Pearl Souffle.
If you haven’t realized already, I am a very lazy shaver. Half the time I just use water while I am in the shower, which can make for some painful razor burn. I have used the Pearl Polish, which is a shaving body oil, a couple times now and I can definitely say it makes all the difference. I love the consistency and my legs are actually quite hydrated after I use it, plus I get a very close shave! While in Vegas last weekend, I brought along my travel size Shaveworks kit, which was like my own little shaving army. I interchanged the my Pearl Polish and Pearl Souffle as shaving creams and both work just as great. Afterwards, I applied The Cool Fix to the areas I shaved because it provides calming benefits and minimizes any razor burn or ingrown hairs. Lastly, I used Pearl Luxe as an all-over lotion to hydrate my skin and act as an ant-irritant. Overall, I definitely recommend these products to you guys! I’m guilty of just using soap when I shave my legs and I feel like the experience would be so much better if I invested in ACTUAL shaving products! I’ll have to keep this brand in mind when I do!

I usually use shaving cream then lotion after but I’m willing to give this a try. Anything to keep my legs hydrated and soft for summer….
