Enjoy Life’s Moments: Nature Valley #BeGreatOutThere

I don’t know about you guys but it is so easy to get caught up in life’s everyday routine and forget to celebrate the little things in the world around you. For those of you who don’t know already, I just moved to Denver, Colorado to start a new job. I have been working 50-55 hours a week and I noticed that I was getting into a working rut where I go to work, workout, eat dinner and then usually go straight to bed so I can repeat everything the next day. Living in Denver, Colorado surrounded by the beautiful outdoors, there are endless things to do to relieve stress and enjoy the little moments in life. This past weekend Paul (my boyfriend) and I decided to live up to the #BeGreatOutThere campaign and appreciate our well-earned weekend to spend time together and celebrate the beautiful state we live in. It is so easy to get swamped with work and the not-so-fun but necessary aspects of everyday life. We packed up the car with water, Nature Valley granola bars, sunscreen and headed to the mountains for a hike. A couple wrong turns, a closed road, and four hours later we made it to St. Mary’s Glacier where we hiked to the base of the glacier. And thank goodness for the Nature Valley bars we brought along, they were both wholesome and delicious and I think I ate three throughout the entire day!
