Hello Miss Olivia Says readers, I am back with more from my recent wedding planning adventures. Today’s post is dedicated to all things invitations! I know a lot of brides don’t order their invites until a couple months before the wedding, but because my mom and I have made so much progress planning the wedding, we decided to knock one thing off our to-do list and order our invites from Basic Invite. We aren’t sending the invites out for a couple of months, but now we have one less thing to do, which is a great feeling. I partnered with Basic Invite for both my invites and RSVP cards and absolutely love how they turned out. If you missed my last post about Basic Invite, make sure to check it out now!
The entire process picking out my invites and RSVP cards was so easy with Basic Invite. I guarantee you’ll find a design you love because they have over 800 wedding invitation sets. You don’t have to worry about sifting through websites to find a cohesive design for all your wedding paper products, because Basic Invite has so many different design sets you can choose from. Plus, they offer wedding templates to make the design process so simple! And don’t worry, you don’t have to stick to a single design set, you can do what I did and mix and match to find exactly what you are looking for. Basic Invite has everything from save the dates to wedding invitations and enclosure cards, wedding menus, wedding programs and matching thank you cards!
I definitely wanted to take my time playing around with different invitation designs. I simply created an account and each time I created an invite draft with my wedding details, it saved right to my account to go back to at a later time. I ended up having a top three, which I had my family and fiance vote on which they liked best. We ultimately decided on this In the Garden design, however I changed the font, wording and color scheme as seen below. The editing tool allows you to easily change whatever you want to your invite to ensure it matches what you are envisioning. Basic Invite even has online chat support to help you if you run into any issues or have questions. If you are still aren’t ready to purchase your invite once you finalized the finishing touches, Basic Invite will send you a free sample of what your invite so you can get an in person look.
Another thing that made my life 100x easier was Basic Invite provides FREE address collection service AND free envelope printing. I uploaded my guest list and Basic Invite printed each name and address on the envelope saving me hours of handwriting each of my guest’s invite. In addition to the free envelope address printing, as you can see with my invites, Basic Invite has over 40 different colors of envelopes and we opted for the pink envelope liner for a beautiful finishing touch.
Although I didn’t pick out an entire set of invitations, RSVP cards and thank you notes, I did order these adorable RSVP cards. Because my venue doesn’t require a headcount of who is eating which dish, we thought it would be a fun idea for our guests to send in song requests instead. We also opted to have the return address printed on the back of the RSVP envelope with hopes that will minimize the amount of people we have to track down for their response.
I loved my experience working with Basic Invite! The designs are spectacular and the customer service is amazing. I am so excited for my guests to receive my wedding invitations in just a few short months! Check out Basic Invite on their social media accounts for all your wedding invitation needs:
