The day of the wedding is what you’ve been spending hours planning and stressing over. If you are the bide, the last thing you need to be doing is stressing out the day of. In today’s post, I am reviewing the little things you will need to remember for the big day!
You have scoured diamond stores for the very best ring. You have booked and confirmed the venue and vendors for the day. The registry has been completed, and the invites have been sent out. The best man has been instructed on how to take care of your husband-to-be. And your family members have all been given their list of jobs for the big day.
Job done. Nothing has been forgotten. Everything will go to plan, and your day will be a huge success. It’s time to breathe a huge sigh of relief.
Or is it? You have remembered the big things for the day, but what about the little things? It is important not to overlook the little details, so here are the little things you need to remember on your wedding day.
- Drink lots of water! Don’t forget to have a bottle of water with you throughout the day. If it’s a hot day, you are going to get dehydrated. And with all the standing, especially during the photographs, you don’t want to deal with heat and exhaustion. Drinking plenty of the cool water will ensure you’re still standing by and having a blast by the end of the night.
- If you don’t want to ruin your wedding dress, don’t forget a bathroom buddy. You spent hours looking for that perfect dress, but you definitely don’t want to have any accidents trying to use the bathroom while wearing your dress. Especially if your dress is long dress with multiple layers of fabric, you need somebody like your MOH to help you out!
- Remember to eat! Don’t forget to ask the caterer to put something aside for you and your groom. You will be so busy greeting people, running around making sure jobs are being done, and dancing, that you may actually forget to eat something. Speak to the caterer or a family member ahead of time because you’ll want to make sure you eat throughout the day.
- If you don’t want crazy kids running around, don’t forget to organize something for the little ones at the wedding. While they make a wonderful addition to the wedding day, they can play havoc with your plans. If you are worried about how some of the kids you invited may act during the day, organize a play area, consider family games, and politely give their parents a list of rules.
Please comment down below what you wedding day tips are! I haven’t even had my wedding yet, so I would love to hear your thoughts!
