1.Fix What Makes You Unhappy
When you have low self esteem about a particular aspect of your face or body, why not fix it? Living with an insecurity for all of your life is no way to live, so find a way to improve it. Don’t rush into making any rash decisions though, take your time to consider all of the possibilities.
2. Assess Your Friendships and Relationships
If you’re low in confidence then you might want to take a look around you and see what’s bringing you down. There might be someone in your friendship group who always has something negative to say about you. Perhaps you’re trapped in a toxic relationship that is making you feel insecure. Surround yourself with uplifting people and you will soon start to feel better about yourself.
3. Update Your Style
There is nothing more confidence boosting than shaking up your personal style. Head out on a shopping spree with your closest friend and see what catches your eye. A new pair of heels, a chic jacket and a good fitting pair of jeans will work wonders for your confidence.
4. Give Yourself a Makeover
Updating your hair and makeup choices might just work wonders for your self esteem. Experiment with a new look and you will literally feel like a whole new person. I love binging YouTube beauty videos to find new fun ways to do my makeup.
5. Chase Your Career Goals
When it comes to achieving your personal career goals, you have to have confidence in your own abilities. As soon as you land that job you have been looking for, your self esteem will sky rocket. There is something very satisfying about chasing a goal and achieving it, so try it out now! And if you are in a job that you dread, spruce up your resume and start applying to find a job you really love.
6. Indulge in ‘Me Time’
You might be feeling low about yourself because you never get time on your own. ‘Me time’ is hugely important to everyone, so give yourself a little break everyday where you can appreciate how amazing you are.
