Oh, summer. We can feel it coming, and very soon there will be long days spend next to the pool, trips to the beach, evenings around a campfire. During the summer we want to know that we’re looking and feeling great. And in order to get ready for the warmer weather, I am sharing a couple of tips to look and feel your best!
Get Exercising
There’s not a person on the planet who has a natural beach body. Anyone you see who’s looking good at the beach has worked hard to do so! And ok, you don’t need to go overboard, but it is important to develop some sort of exercise regime no matter wha time of the year it is. If you’ve never really exercised before, start small — jogging a few times a week will get the ball rolling. From there, you can look at upping the ante by joining a gym or heading to an exercise class like Orange Theory!
New Outfits
Why not look at adding a few more beach outfits to your wardrobe? Ideally, you’ll find some clothing that you can get a little sandy during the day, but also trendy enough so that you can head straight to the beachside bar once the sun begins to set.
Touching Up
We don’t pay all that much attention to how our hair looks and so on during the winter, but when spring comes, we begin thinking about it a little more. By the time summer rolls around, it’s a big deal! For the beach itself, laser hair removal treatment will help your skin look lovely and smooth — and will prevent having to shave all summer long. For your hairstyle, take a look at visiting a salon, and getting an updated look. There are going to be plenty of events to attend after those beach days, and you’ll want to look your best.
Accessories
We don’t just take ourselves to the beach. We take cute supplies with us too! For example, there are plenty of trendy beach towels available, along with beach bags. An especially ‘in’ style is those oversized beach towels. Plus, they keep the sand away!
Avoiding the Burn
Finally, take steps to avoid getting burned. A red face will undo all of your good work! Plus, the downsides of burning stretch beyond red skin — you’ll also significantly be increasing your chances of long-term skin damage. Make sure you’ve always got sunscreen with you!
