I always make an effort to dedicate time to reading, but sometimes it takes me forever to even decide on a book to read so I am always turning to recommendations from friends, family and social media. Reading is an easy way for me to destress so I try and spend some of my work-week evenings with my Kindle. In today’s post, I wanted to share a few book recommendations for my fellow readers out there. As you can see, the genres are a little all over the place, but I’m usually in a mood for something different each time I sit down with a book.
I follow the Redheads Book Club on Instagram hosted by Jackie Oshry. It is a podcast book club where they decide on a book to read and then do a podcast reviewing it a few weeks later. Before we Were Strangers and Layla were recommendations I got from the Podcast and really enjoyed. Kiss the Girls is a mystery/thriller by James Patterson, who is an amazing author. I was honestly a little scared reading this book, so if you don’t like crime I’d say pass on this one. And finally, Eat, Pray, #FML and The “More of Less” Definitive Guide to Self-Care are great feel good reads.
If you are looking for some good reads in 2021, let me know if you check out any of my recommendations!
