Since moving in to our new home, I have been dreaming of hosting now that we have more space. Once COVID can get a grip, we are excited to have more friends and family over for dinner parties, BBQs, and game nights. Until then, I will continue to spend my free time obsessed with Crate and Barrel and scrolling through Pinterest for table decor and hosting ideas.
When it comes to being invited over to a friends home, Paul and I don’t like to show up empty handed. Usually the host(s) are providing dinner and drinks so we like to show our appreciation with a little something whether that is a bottle of wine or something practical. In today’s post, I wanted to share some of my gift ideas for the host.
Coupe Glasses: I saw these at Crate and Barrel the other day and think they would be fun to serve a speciality drink out of. Plus, this gift is under $50 for 4 glasses.
Marble Cheese Board: You all know my obsession for charcuterie so of course I had to include this William and Sonoma cheese board.
Cheese Marker Set: To piggyback off of the cheeseboard, I love this cheese marker set from Crate and Barrel. Now everyone at the party will know the Cotswald from the Sharp Cheddar.
Bottle Opener: I think this is a great add-on gift if you bring drinks! This rope-handle bottle opener is under $20 from Macy’s.
Marble Wine Chiller: These can be little on the pricier side, but a wine chiller like this one from Macy’s would be an thoughtful gift for any host.
Moscow Mule Cup Set: I found this set from Amazon for $16, which is actually a pretty good price for Cooper mugs.
Candle Care Kit: I received this kit for Christmas and think it would be a great gift for a host. Pair it with a decorative bowl and you got yourself a little candle care station.
