Fancy seeing you here! Typical Olivia going MIA from her blog for 3+ months to play golf all summer and work. But here we are, my golf game is still meh and I am still working, working, working. I woke up to some gloomy weather here in Colorado and the blog started calling my name. I decided to whip out a fall must haves to continue encompassing the basic blogger that I am. But don’t worry, I plan on working on some recipe posts in the coming weeks because what else is there to do when it starts getting dark at 4pm, there is not golf to be played, and the weather turns to doom and gloom?
Pumpkin Spice Candle: I lovelovelove burning candles throughout my house. Something about a yummy-smelling candle on a cool fall day makes my home feel extra cozy. I purchased this pumpkin spice candle from Target and it smelt amazing. The downside was it arrived in 3 pieces due to only being wrapped in a few layers of paper. Luckily Target refunded me no problem. 10/10 would recommend, maybe just buy it in store.
Fuzzy Blanket: What is fall without acquiring 2-3 new fuzzy throw blankets? I almost left Home Goods yesterday with a few myself.
Brown Booties: Don’t ask me if these are “in” or not, but I think brown boots are a staple for fall. Same with skinny jeans…
White Booties: And while we are at it, I recently bought a pair of white booties as well. I am so excited to add them to fall outfits this season.
Half Baked Harvest Cookbook: As you can tell, I tend to go on a blogging hiatus during the summer months and return during fall and winter. A ton of my content tends to be around cooking and recipes so you better believe I will be sharing some recipes soon. I actually have a Half Baked Harvest recipe teed up to make next Monday and hopefully I will remember to blog.
A Stylish Hat: Picture this – you’re at a pumpkin patch looking extra basic for an Instagram pic.
Eye Masks: I pride myself on having a collection of face and eye masks readily available for a relaxing evening on the couch. My husband Paul even enjoys indulging in a gold under eye mask every once in awhile.
A Kindle: I have an old Kindle Fire that I used to read on but last year I got an iPad for Christmas, which I have used since. I don’t know about you, but during the hot summer months I am not much of a reader. Come fall, give me a good book and a hot cup of tea and I am content.
